Cold Box Core Shooters

Amine cold box process is one of the most widely used core making processes in mechanical industry. In this process, silica sand mixed with resin and hardener is shot in the core box. Amine gas is then passed which acts as a catalyst resulting in hardening of the sand. This process is particularly suitable to manufacture medium to large sized bulky cores of high pouring strength. Galaxy manufactures fully automatic cold box core shooters suitable to produce cores with vertical, horizontal, universal four way or universal five way parted core boxes. Both pneumatic and hydraulic models are available with auto ejection mechanism for cores. Our machines are suitable to mount multi-cavity core boxes thus producing multiple cores in a single cycle. The machine cycle is controlled by means of a PLC with display unit. Safety interlocks, fault diagnostics and safety curtains are provided to ensure both machine and human safety. Our machines are self-sufficient with amine gas generation unit, pneumatic panel or hydraulic power pack. Safety enclosures can be provided as per requirement. Additionally CO2 gassing system can also be provided for the same machine. The user can select amine or CO2 cycle on the control panel according to the requirement.
